The last roll (Superia 1600)

A couple of weeks before the announcement from Fuji about their discontinuation of Superia 800 & 1600, I shot a roll of 1600. Here’s the photos from that occasion. Unless I get my hands on some leftover stock, this will be the second and last time that I’ve shot this film. FujiFilm Superia 1600 by AREKU

  • Sweetheart,

    More lovely shots!
    Little anecdotes they might weave.

I’ve read a few things in my life and sometimes what you have read kind of sticks; like in the first picture I cannot unthink stones as being naked girls. Although admittedly this looks more ladylike if you see it with those eyes. I’m no stranger to eroticism, I rather enjoy it.

It looks very safe, like it does in nude paintings. This blue speaks serenity to me. Very inviting and still and at the same time rather exhilarating. Treat her and take in the view of pleased happiness and beating hearts. Go over water for love, a pretty thought.

The second one is hot. Coming for seconds totally is. You really know how to make the ticker go go go faster. While at the same time I want to freeze that warm moment. Proving that it’s not so difficult to reach me. Just reach for those warm places.

Those steps are so cool! That’s so my kind of random thing, pretty and just a little bit nasty if you like. I mean all that green got to make it more comfy right? And a mysterious door, who could ever resist? It might be a rocket that takes you to a pretty radical planet where our lust lives.

Lick me up and you’ll get to know.

First we might land in a familiar place.

Aawww! Can you be a hot moon made out of branches? I think you might possibly just prove that you can. That complete picture and a gothic moon. Oh my man do I want it!

    Until we are ashes

Oh trees always bring out the best of us and life. It’s such a rush to think of coming together, to be whole or to have a reflection that is both the same and not.

Sometimes my associations get the best of me… Like when I see a word and I go all Norse myth and sexual. I’d so come and do you. The wonders of interpretation of goddesses, there’s always a flip side to my liking. Not had sufficient time to nerd down here, still got a lot to learn about it but isn’t that just life? Live and learn as you skip along the road. It’s hard sometimes and you both need and need to be there for that loved one along the way. And you are, but more than that, you capture that.

The emotion in the sixth one is wonderful. That happy to see you hug motion.
Ooh, I want it so much!!
Perfect, that hearty welcome, it’s so what you need when a bit shy. Honestly makes my whole body happy, great physical memory. More than that, the colour is simply amazing and that film-ish feel just adds great impact to it.

Same feel for the sky pic. I see fluttering wings, it corresponds with my stomach feel. That build up! All those things we want written like little messages in the sky. I’m so corny and proud of it. Of course I want to follow the sky and you to the amazing place and all the adventures just waiting for us.

Heaven above, that is a really cuuute place!! OMG like cut from my dreamscape!
It’s got some attitude and breaths of soul. I kind of want to run there and have a peek. I am an incurable romantic! Curious to impossibility.

I blame it all on those beautiful period series that I devoured during the 90’s, not least Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea they’re old favourites of mine and I still hold them dear and that feel is in that last picture. Difficult to give it just one name, it’s more a collection of emotions running around. I really like family sagas/stories call them what you prefer.

I dare not watch the new Anne series because I have such a romantic attachment to the Kevin Sullivan one. It would be really nice to take you loves to Prince Edward Island someday. I read as much as I could find of L.M Montgomery when I was younger. I did find one of her Emily stories rather recently and started to read it, but as so many times before got caught in other pressing matters. Sounds a lot like I long for yet more splendid reasons to read her works.

That last picture do indeed make me think again of that loving place that I endlessly dreamt away to. Especially when someone was awful to me. I’d just go off imagining there was this peaceful little place where I belonged. Where I was not a better person just accepted as I am the good and bad. Where life is as hard as it is, but where there’s compassion. I guess homesick for a place I did not know, but had a feeling about. I did not forget it just over time I guess I learnt to hide what was a silly dream to most. People hear but not listen. Too busy telling me it’s too good and no such place exists. I’m the other kind of person. The one that knows it does, because you can build a place like that. I think that is what they called stubbornness.

Also I adore the sky in that pic, it is magnificent, so subtly changing colour. Like I imagine and hope my face to do when I see you.

I’ve always had hope, but my dreams and wants haven’t had a home in another kind heart before.
    It’s a feeling so grand.

    We weave the sweetest dreams

Thank you so much, it’s a continuous bliss to watch them pictures
