 Incoming gear and new photographs

areku photography In just a little more than a week, it’ll be my birthday (18th of June). Around this time every year, I tend to buy something nice for myself, often indirectly as a gift from my parents. The past years it have been mainly new instruments (like my 12 stringed Ibanez) or something photography related (like the Nikon F80). This year offers nothing new. Earlier today I put down a order from Thomann, which is a huge music store located in Germany, to whom I’ve been a loyal customer since a while back. I won’t go into specifics of what I bought (that may however be the subject of a future post), but I can tell you so much as the items is of such nature that they will greatly improve the quality of the works I will share in a near future, as well as enabling me to go into new areas of creativity.
I am in no way a supporter of “the gear makes the artist”, since you can go far with very little, and still achieve great results. However, sometimes have to get a certain item to even being able to begin working in a new field.
For example, it’s hard to take photos without a camera.
So expect some new interesting things, very soon.

Onto the second part of this post – new photos.
I haven’t been out shooting for this past week, but today I had both the time and the urge to snap some pictures.
Leave a comment below, tell me your thought about these photos.
See you soon!
